Healthy community development is the focus of DFYF's new Crittenton Community Center. The Crittenton Community Center uses our Community Restoration model where human service agencies come together in partnership to provide needed services in toxic stressed areas. Our restoration model addresses access to food, medical services, housing stability, workforce development, educational support, after-school programming, kindergarten readiness, and mental health services to support and stabilize families.
DFYF believes that communities can heal themselves. We believe that when families are strengthened, the neighborhood strengthens. When neighborhoods strengthen, communities heal and are restored.
